I think nomad may have started this, but sandyquill and katryn have good ones, too, these 50 word fictions . . . so I thought I'd give it a shot, see what you think.

"I have something to tell you," she said.

"What?" he asked.

"I witnessed a robbery.”

“Can you identify the robber?”

“Yes. I know him very well.”

“Know him well…?”

“Yeah, the one with the gun, he was my high school crush.”

“Really?”

“Unfortunately. He used to be an attractive female.”

That one was dialouge, so here's one without:

The music flowed through the room. The lighting was perfect. She could see the beauty in all things—in every thing she looked upon. She could see the scenes within scenes…the tree’s branches and limbs formed a pattern that resembled a bad hair day. After all, she was a camera.

Hmm, a bit more challenging than I expected, but still, for someone that hates English other than reading books for pleasure, I did ok, right? . . . Oh my . . . 1:30 in the morning, I need to brush my teeth and go on to bed, I gotta get up in the morning and go to the bank and fix a goof that I made *sigh* . . . at first I thought it was the bank's fault, but after going through everything and having my mom double check after me, I found out that I'm the one at fault, so I'm going in the morning to try and straighten it all out with as few fees as possible.
