21!! 21!! I am officially 21!! Well, sometime between 8 and 10 this morning, anyway. Solidification is a very interesting guy . . . I have no idea how he comes up with anything he does, but somehow, it all makes sense. But anyway . . . this blog is about me . . . me me me me me! So here goes, 21 things about me--my life, things I've learned, and anything of importance I may have accomplished . . .

1. Being the eldest of three girls has taught me something--everything is always MY fault.

2. Although I seem shy and reserved, I have learned when to speak up and guard myself.

3. I have learned what true friendship is -- Robin, Maggie, Steph, and Jo . . .

4. I have learned that deer do, in fact, jump into moving vechiles.

5. I know that Spain is very hot and dry during the summer, at least in the summer of 2002.

6. I know that Portugal can be very cool and wet in the summer, again the summer of 2002.

7. Toronto is an awesome city, and Turner Fenton is a huge high school -- miss ya Charlene!

8. I have been to quite a few baseball games, but I know I will always remember the game where Andres Galaraga charged the mound after being hit by a pitch.

9. I have learned that trust is of great value and should never be broken. And I know that there are some exceptions to this.

10. I learned that Florida can, in fact, be cold during the winter. (Florida Citrus Bowl of 2001, halftime performance show, yep, I was one of the flag people. It was awesome!)

11. I have learned that art is in the eye of the beholder.

12. I have learned that there is more than one way to see things, sometimes, many ways.

13. I have learned that sleep is value and important for me to function. (So why am I still up?)

14. I have learned that I can be a real bitch if I have PMS.

15. I have learned that sometimes I must swallow my pride and apologize, even if it wasn't my fault.

16. I have come to learn that my sisters mean more to me than they'll ever know.

17. I know that things happening in the world today can, and will, affect me tomorrow.

18. I have learned that I watch entirely too much television, especially during baseball season.

19. I have come to believe that the only good reality show out there is on home videos, where you are living life yourself.

20. I have learned that education is something of value and importance, and that's why I'm sticking it out through college.

21. I have learned that "hate" is a very powerful and evil word. And this doesn't have anything to do with racism either. When used in a sentence, "hate" can break a heart, and the heart may never mend.

That's it, I think. That's me being sentimental as well, but I must say that my family and friends have had a role in shaping who I have become and who I am, and they will continue to shape who I will be. I love you all dearly, thank you!
