I look like I have little kids hands now . . . my nails are so short now. I had gotten tips and the acrylic thing back in November for Junior Dads weekend, but I never had the chance (or the money) to keep them kept up--i.e. getting them filled in--so every time they'd pop up from the back, I'd just use super glue and stick them back on . . . well super glue oh works for so long, so I finally started to just work them off, unfortunately, as I took off the fake stuff, it was still VERY attached to my real nail (that had grew out some underneath) and proceeded to take the sends of those off too, so now I am down to the "nubs" as my mom so refers to them . . . and a couple even bled . . . but I shaped them and polished them and they don't look that bad, they just look like little kids hand now . . . *sigh* oh well . . .
I got home Saturday around 1 pm and did absolutely nothing except for going out to pick up the pizza that was for dinner and bring it back home. Sunday was fun . . . went to church, got quizzes on the books of the Bible (in order Old and New Testaments) by the pastor . . . I'm in his Sunday School class, but I haven't been there in a while because I'd been away at school, so yeah, now I know what I need to learn by next Sunday . . . then for lunch, my aunt and uncle had invited some of the family out to lunch at Golden Corral, the most busy restaurant I've ever seen at that time of day on Sunday, and there where 19 of us, so we had to do some waiting for a table, but we got to talk and catch up and enjoy ourselves. I got to meet my "new" cousin, I say new because she's 14, but we (my family) didn't know about her until a couple of months ago, well maybe my uncle did, since he’s her father, but he didn't tell any of us. I think the only reason we know now is because she wanted to get to know her father and his family, which I think is great, and she seems really sweet and nice, and she's very pretty, but none of us really got a chance to talk to her because my uncle, as my sister puts it, "hogged" her . . . *lol* . . . my mom said he "needed to learn how to share." *hehehe* I also got to show off my photography portfolio, which they all seemed to like, but a few where a little confused about photograms, colles, and photomontages. A couple didn't like one of my prints because I had taken two pictures of my cousin's little girl and sandwiched the negatives together and made the print, so it looked like she had 3 or 4 heads, also one picture was vertical and the other horizontal, so it's really confusing in determining how it would be displayed to be looked at, not my intent, but it worked out that way. I like art that make people think, or even makes them uncomfortable, because it mean that you've done something and it affected them, whether they liked it or not. . . I'm working on a scanner, when I get one, I'll put that pic up so you can see for yourselves. . .
Yesterday was fun, too. I spent most of the day with my cousin Kristin, (she’s from dad’s side, the lunch Sunday was mom’s side), and we’re no good when we’re together. *lol* . . . She took me to the eye doctor, I thought I was getting another full exam because of last month, but nah, he just looked at the contacts and was, “the swelling has gone down and that’s good . . . and we’re going to change our contacts after how many days?” *haha* See last month, when I went, he asked how long I’d had my contacts in, and I said “since February” and he was “please say you didn’t say that,” me “yup . . . I hate glasses, but I took them out and cleaned them,” him “that’s just not good enough” and he proceeds to look at my eyes with that really intense light,” yeah, there’s definitely stuff growing on them” *eww* And then he gave me a new pair of contacts and told me to come back this month, or he’ll “hunt me down and drag me into his office,” which isn’t so bad, cause he is CUTE! But, he’s married, so no worries . . . *lol*
After Kristin went with me to the eye doctor, we went to pick up some pictures, and then she went to get her eyebrows waxed, and then we came back to my house for a bit and she went home. Then mom got home and we were going shopping, and I called Kristin and she went with us. We hit the Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Taco Bell for dinner, and then mom ran into the grocery store for some tp and bread and somehow managed to come out with four or five bags . . . *hehe* I know now where I get it from . . . That was pretty much it, cause we got back home before nine, which was awesome, because I needed my eye candy--WWE RAW!!--omg! Randy Orton is sooooooooooooo sexy! His match with Edge lasted for close to 45 mins! I couldn’t believe it would last that long, but it did and RANDY won *Hahanaha Edge
* Nothing else major really happened, or if it did, it happened while I was dozing off those couple of times, for some reason I was really tired, but RAW was kinda slow anyway, so it’s not entirely my tiredness *haha*
Anyways, there’s much else going on, really, I have Cantata practice Saturday morning at 8!--what is Joyce thinking??!--but at least she’s feeding us breakfast, so that’s not too bad, and now I must go, because I need to clean my bedroom. . . it’s sad because I haven’t really been home and my room is such a disaster, what happened?? *hehe* ahh, well, doesn’t really matter, I just need to get it cleaned. Just pray I don’t get attacked my any large dust bunnies . . .
