I often wonder

about you and I

about our friendship

and where we'd be

If I had taken the same road

as you, would our friendship

have lasted or

broken apart?

If I had chosen to go

to the same university as you,

would we have seen

more of each other than we do now?

I miss high school,

especially senior year,

when we would sit in the court yard

everyday for lunch . . .

I miss talking

about our baseball team

about homework

about our friends . . .

I miss having you

explain physics to me,

in my classes,

go to the movies with me . . .

College is not much different

from high school

as far as classes go,

but, I do miss you!

We both stay so busy

we never seem to have a chance to talk

about ourselves, to catch up,

and the boys in our lives . . .

I sincerely hope

this poem finds you well

and that we can

get together some time,

like we used to . . .

Robin I miss you,

you're the only friend,

my best friend,

from high school,

and I consider you my sister.

 Robin, I was feeling a little sentimental and realized that we have yet to really talk since this school year started. But that's ok, as long as you can go to a movie with me over Thanksgiving or Christmas break (maybe?)! *lol* I do want you to know that we do have to get together at least once before Christmas, I still have your present from last year and I know you're gonna LOVE the one I got you this year, and don't worry, I'm not expecting anything in return, I just saw this and I had to get it for you, cause I know you'll love it.
