"The web of our lives is of a mingled yarn, good and ill together." - William Shakespeare

hrmph!

Alright, no weird poem this time, an actual update since it has been a while, and for future knowledge, when I'm at home on breaks and such, we have dail-up, not the broadband I am so used to here at school. You see, I live in the "boonies," "sticks," woods," etc. and cable refused us (I still live at home with my 'rents, afterall I'm in college) service because I live "too far from a main road." And to get it through satellite is ridiculous because they don't have anything local and would want to charge us for my sisters and my parents' arms and legs, of course I would not be found, so they'd get no part of me! (*lol* I'm pickin' ya'll, no worries!) But yeah, anyway, for future reference, I got sidetracked, during breaks and such, I won't be able to post as many entries as I'd like because I hate dial-up and get impatient with it, and plus, nothing much exciting ever happens in the "boonies!" So there.

Ok, the updates . . . lemme see, what do I need to write about? (If I leave anything out, someone let me know!) Ok, there's Junior Dads . . . Thanksgiving Break--Kristin and Jess Day, Robin and Jess Day, and me gettin in trouble for gettin home late after a date . . . the 10 page paper I failed to write . . . me getting no sleep because of this 10 page paper and the debate I have to give on 3 hours of sleep . . . exams *eww* . . . and, ah yes, a furture blog on plans for Christmas/Winter break and for my January birthday plans *evil: hehehe*

(omg! errr! I just had this really nice paragraph and somehow I mangaged to erase it! What the . . .? *sigh* So, here goes again, let's try it one more time!)

OK, Junior Dads . . . not much to tell other than what I've already posted. Everyone was dressed up, prom-like--I wore my highschool junior prom dress, it's only the second time it's been worn-- the girls were gorgeous and the men handsome. There was a cerimony where us ladies were presented with our class rings by our Dads, or step-dad, uncle, grandpa, boyfriend, etc., any guy that held a special place in their life. My dad gave me mine. Then we ladies took class pictures. And then there was the first dance, the Father-Daughter dance. And then, yeah, like a prom. You can go look at pictures if you want: www.partypics.com  and the password is: mbc  (as in the school I attend). I'll come back and post which pics are pics of me, I just don't know them off the top of me head.

Thanksgiving break . . . Monday, the 22th was Kristin and Jess Day! I miss my cousin so much sometimes, she's always workin and me at school . . . we went out to lunch at MickeyD's, then some Christmas shopping at K-Mart (she shopped, I window-shopped, I had no money), then we went to her house and put her Christmas tree together (the fake one, we didn't decorate it though, just put it together) and freaked out over the spiders *lol*, and then, she treated me to dinner at El Parral (I think that's the spelling) and I placed my order in Spanish, cause it is a Mexican restrurant, and the waiter didn't even speak spanish! So I had to tell him again, but in English *lol* and then we made plans for her birthday on the 15th of this month, and started plans for my birthday in January . . . Tuesday I saw my cousin Angel and her kids, who I love as my own, for the most part, and went shopping for groceries for Thanksgiving dinner . . . Wednesday was Robin and Jess Day! I finally gave her last year's Christmas present and this year's! And she got me stuffs, too, but I only got to eat a handful of the big bag of peanut m&ms she got me, my parents and sisters ate the rest! We went to lunch at Wendy's and to a movie--Christmas with the Kranks--it was good, not great, but not bad. We had the WHOLE theater to ourselves, we were the only ones in there watchin the movie, which was great, didn't have to worry about us not talking or other people talking while we were trying to listen to the movie. So it that was great! And then she took me back to my house (mom had my car because my cousin Angel had mom's car) and we said goodbye, I should've made her promise that we'd get together again soon, before a year passes this time! . . . Thursday was dinner at my house with various peoples in the family droppin in randomly and LOTS of football (which I like! :-D) . . . Friday was leftovers and then that evening I went on a date with Josh, saw Napoleon Dynamite--dumb movie--and grabbed a bite to eat, then spent a couple hours makin out and therefore I didn't get home until almost 3 am, and thus, my parents were upset with me and I got lectured, twice! . . . Saturday was rainy and I spent the day at home layin around, attempted to start my paper, it didn't happen, and watched, for the first time ever in my life, It's A Wonderful Life, and enjoyed it! . . . Sunday was church, laundry, packin, and spending over 3 hours in traffic to get back to school when it usually takes me about 2 hours 10 mins to 2.5 hours to get back, but I finally made it, attempted paper again, no luck, unpacked and went to bed . . .

Now, that Monday I had to give a report on my paper that wasn't due until Wednesday, but anyways, it wasn't good, but I managed a B for the oral, went to the lab with Steph and actually accomplished getting through most of my notes. Tuesday, ah . . . Tuesday, after classes and whatnot, I spent from 8pm to 7am in the lab writing my 10 page paper, with only a 30 min nap in there at about 2 am. It wasn't exactly 10 pages though in the end, more like 7.5, counting endnotes, but not the title and bibliography pages; got back to the room and slept for 2 hours before class, went to class and lunch, then an hour nap before class in which I turned in my paper, then another class where I got to debate, on 3 hours of sleep, that Quebec should separate from Canada. Then dinner, and I crashed! . . . And nothing much since then, just finishing up all my classes and watchin the 25 Days of Christmas on abcfamily.

So yeah, exams are next week, I only have two to take, Thank Goodness! But I also have one 2-4 page paper for another, a project for art, and my portfolio for photography. Ok, I think I'm all caught up now, and this is kinda long, but I couldn't help it. And now, I think I'm gonna end it here and publish it before I erase anymore of it, I still can't figure out how I'm doing that! *gr!* Have a good and blessed day! Later peeps!
