"The web of our lives is of a mingled yarn, good and ill together." - William Shakespeare

The Lobster Lives Here . . .

Hmm . . . well, I haven't done much of anything today. Exams start tomorrow. I plan to take Spanish and Money & Banking, but we shall see . . . My sunburn hurts. Last night I kept waking up everytime I turned over 'cause it hurt . . . I guess that's what I get for assuming that someone else would have sunscreen at the softball tournament. Oh well, at least my sister had an awesome game, and she's the baby of the team and was playing better than some, at least she had more hits than anyone on her team. And to think she thought she wasn't good enough for varsity! HA!

Today was a much needed goof day after yesterday's being out in the sun all day. I got up at 10, watched a little tv, went to brunch, came back to the room and flipped through the channels until the Braves came on (yes, toot your Mets won, finanlly, but the Braves still took the series ). So yeah, I watched the Braves lose. Actually it wasn't too bad until the 8th inning, up until that point, both Smoltz and Pedro Martinez were awesome. So, after the ball game, I turned on the NASCAR race and got to see a piece of home. That was nice, and so was the fact that I didn't have to fight that ridiculous traffic. I think it's pretty awesome that Jeff Gordon came from 3 laps down to win the thing. More power to him, plus, the Rick Hendricks Motorsports team really needed the win, especially after the tragedy that happened at the last Martinsville race back in October. I am happy for them. (On a side note, I am also estatic that Tony Stuart didn't win. That jack-ass gets on my nerves thinking that he's God's-gift to the sport . . . PUH-LEEZE!) . . . After the race I goofed off a little more and then had an Honor Council meeting at 7 to do stuff for exam week. Then Marissa hung out with me. We went over to Kelly's and watched Charmed then came back to her room and ordered pizza for dinner, I was starved and ate 4 slices, two with pepperoni and two with bacon . . . *yum*

But yeah, anyway, tomorrow is time to get serious. The first exam starts at 9, but we can start 30 minutes before the actual time, so at 8:30 until 12 and then again from 2 (1:30) to 5. Wish me luck, I'm going to need it. But for now, I think I'm going to apply more lotion and go to bed, doing nothing is exhausting!
