Well, for those of you who listened to WTF  radio this past Friday, you heard the awesome radio hosts, AAP, Chilly, and Nomad, wonder "Who is this Sqrlprncess2005?" So, I will elaborate . . .

The "sqrl" (squirrel) comes from my school mascot, the Mary Baldwin College Fighting Squirrels.

The "prncess" (princess) comes from two places:

1st-- I was my grandpa's princess when I was really little. He used to babysit me and take me for walks. He taught me silly songs and taught me about all the different kinds of trees, names and how to recognize them and by the age of three I would relate my knowledge to my mother, and we started a "shiny" rock collection (from our walks). Then I started school and the growing apart began, however, we still love each other very much and when I'm at home and not school, he lives less than 100 yards from my home.

2nd--The princess also comes from my love of fairy tales, or maybe it's my inner diva trying to find a way out. I'm not exactly sure, maybe it's both.

The "2005" comes from my hopeful graduation date. I'm trying to graduate by December 2005, however, the way these people keep changing course schedules around here, that might not happen. That's something we'll just have to wait out and see.

So, that's what the name Sqrlprncess2005 means.

On a more personal note, Sqrlprncess2005's real name is Jessica, or Jess, whichever is more comfortable to you. She is a 20 year old, soon to be 21 on January 19th, and a Junior in college. She's 5' 7.5", medium brunette shoulder length hair, hazel/green eyes (and yes, they do sometimes change color, and no, not by contacts), and of average build (I'm so not getting into the weight thing). Her hobbies include reading, poetry, mucho blogging, Atlanta Braves baseball, Carolina Panthers football, WWE RAW, softball, volleyball, and lots of math. Her favorite color is purple, the color of royalty (prncess), and she likes to make crafts. Although she doesn't have any kids, and doesn't plan to for a while, she adores them and loves to babysit, 'cause with babysitting, you can always give them back. She has two younger sisters, 9th and 12th grades, and her parents will be married for 22 years June 12th. She is a real Southern Belle, but more of a tom-boy (she grew up on a farm with cows and horses and 7 different gardens). Her only faults are procrastinating and being too nice to people here at school, trying too hard to please them and often forgetting to take time for herself.
